This photo was staged and used for promotion of FMS.  It was also in the yearbook.  The procedure for the experiment was to generate and collect oxygen by water displacement (left side of photo) and then insert burning magnesium into the oxygen.  The person taking the picture said "You stand there and you stand there and you take this in that hand.....".   Before I hit the botttle we were on our forth try, Steely was getting upset and we had only one bottle of oxygen left.  After the photo was taken, Steely said "That sure made you nervous!".  I replied "No Sir, I'm right handed".
